    My personal preference is go with a slabbed coin rather than a raw one, especially if your buying it off of e bay. You could get lucky and strike a genuine raw one, but I wouldn't take the chance. Plus, if you buy one that's already slabbed, you wouldn't have to worry about paying anything for grading since it's already slabbed.

    I believe the top coin is a fake. The serifs in the "e"s on the reverse are wrong for shallow N variety. they should look more like a "T" rather than a trumpet. Anybody else see that?

    As for the bottom coin.....stay away too. No way to tell if it is real or not. All indicators are gone. I dont think it will even be slabbed as a genuine or details coin.
