As a lot of people know, I am selling off much of my coin collection after many years of collecting to finance my daughters' college education. I currently have a Dansco album from 1932-1998 that is mostly full. I know that the clads are for spending, the later silver stuff is melt, but if I recall correctly, the first page in the book (1932- 1941-D) is the more difficult one to fill. I am NOT asking about the 32-D and S, I know that they are key dates, and command a substantial premium over melt. My question is this: Do any of these sell at a premium in circulated grades? Or should I just sell them all for melt? I appreciate any help that you all can give. Thanks in advance, Noodle
Most everything xf - au will fetch prices well above melt up until 40. Especially: 34 d 35 d 36 d 37 d 37 s 38 38 s Well, mostly AU.
Check you 1956-1964 P's for the type B reverse, as they command a premium in any grade. Also check your 1964D for the Type C reverse, which brings a significant premium in any grade. TC
