Is this a repunched 1858 cent?

    Is this a repunched cent? Notice the odd wing tip and the odd stalk on the back.

    So, have you seen this double die fake before? I have tried to find a photo of a similar coin but cannot. Can you direct me to a link that shows this type of fake coin?

    The things that make me believe its a fake are that fake looking dark color, and the fields are very rough looking, very indicative of a cast coin, not smooth like a struck coin. The details also seem to be kinda mushy or poorly defined.
