Im am new to collecting and I bought 2 ungraded morgans, 1884 o and 1904 o which I believe are ms 62-63 for a total of $91. This is my question. Since a good amount of money can be spent long term on morgans would it be good experience to submit say 4 morgans to PCGS and have them graded so I can get an accurate idea of where I stand grading wise. I will be eating the costs of grading if they dont come back MS63's. Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated !!! Thank you.

Submitting common coins to TPG's for learning how to grade would be an expensive process. If you want to learn, go hang out at a local coin shop and talk to them. It's a LOT cheaper!

It is not worth grading those coins, no. It would be a waste of money.

It is a very good idea to learn how to grade. There are plenty of inexpensive books on the matter, and even online help such as photograde. I would recommend starting with a Red Book. It will give you most of the information you need to start collecting smart.

IMO a coin should have a good chance of cataloging at $200 or more before you send it in for grading.
Since you bought TWO Morgans for $91 I would suggest that they are not worth getting slabbed.
And as BadThad said it would be an expensive way to learn how to grade.
