I have a 1990 no minkmark proofset, whats is it worth?

    hi people, i just joined the cointalk forums so please bear with me, i have a

    1990 no mintmark proof set, All the coins are in the same case, penny, nickel, dime quarter, hald dollar. All 1990 dates with no mint marks i believe. i had no camera but i found a perfect picture of how mine looks like. can someone please
    give me a value of this.

    I believe it's the cent, that lacks the mintmark in this particular year and which makes the set valuable. Red Book (2011) lists it at $5800 but you can't go by what they list as currently price worthy.

    so your saying that the set i have is valueable? and whats it worth? im sorry if im annoying you, im just excited that i found something like this.

    well the plastic case will reflect the camera, is it ok to take off the plastic case and see?

    Turn off the flash.... I don't know if I would mess with the case considering the value of the coins...

    I have a question... You stated that none or the coins in the set have mint marks?

    Take a picture of the coins without mint marks, or a picture where we can see the set closely, not some stock photo.

    We'll be able to tell you what it's worth, but we need to see pictures of your set

    It's not possible that none of the coins dont have mint mark, where are you looking for the mint mark. Do not open the set.

    DO NOT OPEN THE SET. PERIOD.
    1) It could damage the coins
    2) If you were to sell it the fact it has been opened will drastically decrease value as well as open you up for the "he made it, its a fake" argument.
