Does anyone ever check out ebay listings from other countries pages? Any luck? I've found some interesting listings and wondering if anyone has had any success or made noteworthy purchases.

I understand you can get really cheap trade dollars on the eBay China site and sometimes they even list them elsewhere.

Yeah, managed to buy a coin on .de eBay. The price for it on .com was too high for me and after a few months I realized there are other eBay sites. A bit later got a lot of 6 coins for 4 euros. Same lot from another seller on .com was for $18.

I actually picked one of those up when I was in China. For me it was an 8 cent novelty and a fun conversation piece! :D

I often check www.ebay.co.uk (England); www.ebay.au (Australia); www.ebay.de (Germany) and www.ebay.ca (Canada). You can find some amazing things from unsophisticated sellers who don't follow the American market prices, although they've lately been catching up.

When you go to the ebay site, look in the lower right hand corner of the page where there's an American flag. Click on that and a whole bunch of other country's sites show up.

    Agreed.
S&H generally will make dealing internationally no worth while.
On the other hand there are coins that don't show up in the US so sometimes you have to bite the bullet and buy from a non-US seller.
