So instead of blowing $700 on a MS62 1914-S cent, or similar crazy premium for FUN coin, I decided to spend around 20% of that on the 'bay.

    Here the latest take:
    1955-S MS65 1cent - ANACS old slab > $3.25
    1898-O MS63 1$ - ANACS old slab > $54.11
    1945-(micro S) MS65 dime - NGC > $69.77

3 nice coins imo,, and for around $130'ish total, which may have gotten you a slabbed grain of sand at FUN this year.

Nice coins, was FUN overpriced? I picked up a couple things at the most recent Baltimore show.

Those old ANACS slabs did a pretty descent job at grading. Nice coins.

thanks all.. I always enjoy finding nice deals where ever I can. Beef - from what I've heard from others, and from what I saw, yes,,,, the recent FUN auctions that I was watching went off around 20-30% higher than I would have even considered after 8-12 beers... many (or even most) well over full retail. I could not justify these prices based on the quality of scarity of any of those coins I was watching.

Nice--I'm not even into Lincoln cents much anymore, but that one is very pretty; I'd sure own it. The toning on the Morgan $ is beautiful IMO.
