NGC Makes a Mistake Grading an Error

Over the past year Ive sent in quite a few Buchanan dollar coins with very weak edge errors. They were all from the same box and extremely weak. NGC acknowledged them as such.

I had a few more I saved to send in when I had the money. Once I saved, I had to resubscribe to NGC in order to get them graded. 45 days later I recieve them back in slabs with no error grade!!! They were all the same weakness as the others 100%! I called NGC and was told they no longer grade weak edges and havent for a few years now. I said thats funny because 2 months ago you did...for me! The error grader had to call me back I was told. He told me that they made a mistake in grading my buchanan weak edges in the past. I said thats all fine and dandy but you screwed me pretty bad with the ones I just sent in. I have no use for ms64-ms66 graded non error presidential dollars. Now I have error coins slabbed by NGC with no error acknowledged..only weak grades. I was offered a partial refund..not a full one. I went up the chain and finally got a full refund from them.
Should I crack the ones they graded and send them in to another company?
I dont know what to think? I guess I cant be mad since , not only did I get the refund, but now the weak edged buchanans that they actually acknowledged as errors must be pretty darn rare! Im mad that I already sold a few!
Not only are they the last to ever get the NGC weak edge error, but they stopped grading them as such over 2 years ago, and NGC acknowledged a mistake!
    What should I do?

Interesting story! At least you got a refund. Honestly, I don't know how that could be classified as an error. When design elements on other coinage are weak, it's just a weak strike and not an error. Perhaps this is way NGC changed their mind. Does PCGS certify this "error"?

Ngc has graded these in the past. They basically look like they have no edge lettering at all. Its very very weak. Ive seen others graded in the past. I always thought i had weak edge errors until i found these true buchanan weak edges. I had no idea it was silver though!!
Its really an exceptional error. Ngc hasnt acknowledged weak edged errors in years. Probably because of the fine line between the weakness of the edge. I have a few other weak edges but the buchanan is in a league of its own. I can see why ngc stopped grading them, but couldnt resist the buchanan! They told me not to send in my other weak edges because they will never grade them again.

Actually, Im not being sarcastic anymore. If NGC says its silver, than I guess theres silver in it? I paid for their professional opinion.
