2006 usa dollar bill star note with mismatched serial numbers

couldn't figure out how to add a pic. This notes great because its from Newyork, Its like:
If they can't get a remade dollar right how could they handle a Trillions of dollar LOL I'm joking.

Do you own this note? or is it some you are considering to acquire? If you own it, it would be worth having authenticated by a TPG.

If you own the note, could you take a scan of the note out of the holder and post it?

 

I own it, I got it and was going to add it to my starnote collection when I noticed the error and thought thats worth looking into, So here I am 10 post later looking into it. So any gueeses out there so far $200 is the high offer. I say $500 is the value what do you think?

I have no realistic clue about value for such a note but I DO know that it will be far greater than $200 or $500.

It is a scarce and valuable find. If I were still collecting error notes, I'd pay $1000 and think I got a deal.

 

I noticed in the latest issue of Numismatic News that one of the advertisers had a mismatched serial number bill for sale for 695$, that one was not a star note tho.

 

That's the kicker..... the star. Extremely rare!

 

Star note errors are, statistically speaking, 50-100 times rarer than their non-star counterparts.

 

had a note with almost same serial # sold it a 6 months ago just wondering what this one brought.
