Hello Everyone, I'm new here. If any of you are on the Where's George? Forums you may know me.

I need to know how much a 'super radar' would be worth. For Ex: Serial 51111115 or 59999995.

    Thanks.

The one and only way to answer your question is to sell it at auction, and see how high the bidding goes. There are no hard and fast rules on how much any numismatic item is worth, and the more limited the demand, the harder it is to price something.

Bottom line - the worth of a collectible is a textbook example of the classic commentary that anything is worth exactly what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller, with both of them knowing all the relevant facts. ;)

Why do they call ""Serial 51111115 or 59999995"" a radar???

I never heard of that... Then again, I'm not huge on Notes either... I'm more of a metals kinda guy...

I just wanted to know because my g/f is real into notes and I figured it'd be cool triva to tell her and I think its cool to lean new stuff about this hobby.....

If I am not wrong, the reason it is called radar is because it's symetric, for example, 12344321 is a valid radar number, 987656789 is another valid example. :)

It's not THAT easy to find a number that's radar although that is a pretty neat number you got there. :) Let's say, such numbers are for the maths or number freaks ;)

a RADAR bill is a bill in which the serial number is a palindrome (meaning it is the same thing forewards as backwards). The term RADAR is used because it is a palindrome itself.
