Hi, Im new here - so firstly, hello all! I'll be honest and say i know nothing about coin collecting, but thought id get a couple of collections of the Royal wedding 2011. The collections i have are: The 2011 Royal wedding silver £5 coin set with only 495 complete sets issued worldwide and also The William and Kate colour photographic coin collection - which is 24 carat gold plated one dollar coins struck by the cook islands - so far i have 5 of these along with certificates. each coin cost me approx £43 - im not sure how many coins are in the full set but i am registered to recieve each coin as it is issued. with 19500 sets issued worldwide. I guess only reason i got these collections is so hopefully in a few years i'll be able to cash in on these - sorry if this is wrong of me!...but was wanting to know if i am set to make a bit of money on these collections in years to come or im wasting my money??? Thanks in advance.
Hmm..Personally, I don't think they will bring in a premium in the next couple years but I DO think they will in a couple decades. Especially after they die
