1975 Jefferson Nickel - off-center die stamped obverse?

    Just an interesting coin - maybe 5 -7% off center but the date is still readable. There is quite a bit of shadow to the right of the coin - basically the coin is rimless (a defined rim) from the L in LIBERTY to the mint mark.

    Was taken as part of a toll payment.

    It's worth keeping, wont do to much to the value. Probably worth a couple of bucks.

    What about the reverse? Is the reverse also off center? (If the reverse is not off center the obverse is a MAD - MisAligned Die.)

    It's more than likely MAD.

    But if the coin (or image) is roatated 180° a faint mirror-image of Jefferson can be made out.
