I was looking to buy a few silver coins from somewhere, whether it be 90% junk, or some rounds/fractional rounds. The only coin dealer within reasonable distance does not seem to have competitive prices. (4.95 for circulated silver dimes) Has anyone ordered from provident metals? Their prices look fair, but I was wondering how the customer service and shipping tends to be. Thanks for your feedback!

There was a thread here a while back about a member's experience with Provident Metal's customer service when something went wrong with his order. If you tread the whole thread I think it gives you an idea of what kind of company they are (meaning, they did right by the customer).
One order of mine, from provident, of 90% coins came in short of what amounted to two 50 cent pieces, it took only one email and the coins were sent to me the next day, no questions asked. I have ordered from them numerous times and that was the only problem.
