1999-P Dime, I need some oppinions on if its a error and if it is approx price.

Now i know your probably going "wait i dont see anything wrong with this dime" the front of this dime looks like its off centered as the circle is a bit larger than normal. The back however all the way around it except near the bottom the rim looks much larger than other coins of the exact same year and i had plenty to compare it to.

I personally think its a error and i would like some oppinions on it. Rather than just "oh i found a error" i like being able to mark it with what it is.

Also i was curious a approx price. I personally am guessing no more than a buck maybe two if it even is a error.

I changed the first picture sense my camera for whatever reason saved it sideways of all things. I am happier with the second first picture and might try to take a nicer picture of the reverse side of the coin too. so if it just suddenly changes thats why.

You will get better photos if you 1) take the coin out of the 2X2 (the reflection off the plastic makes it hard to see the coin) and 2) shoot the coin straight on.

From what I can see in your photos it appears the obverse is a MAD (MisAligned Die). Sorry but no premium.

 

hmm well still neat if thats the case. i have another dime i need some oppinions on. Ill probably take pictures first and put them in the holders second from now.

 

I believe there is a 3-5% allowance for a MAD strike before any premiums kick in.
