Just got my 2006 proof set and thought I would post a picture of the nickel for any of you that might not have seen it yet.Sorry about the dust and reflections,they're on the plastic. Not quite as scary as the business strike,but close.
2005 jefferson I really liked the 2005 design. Thought it was the very contemporary, and I liked the open-ness. Was hoping the future designs would follow, but to no avail. Saw the 2006 design shortly after and chrushed those dreams.
I don't know if it's just me, but he looks strange on the new nickel. Maybe it's the shadows or something, but it's almost like someone from an old horror flick. Kinda gaunt & sickly looking.
