Hello, all! My wife and I collect coins and currency. Our newest thing has been collecting star notes of various denominations. So far, we have gotten all types except the $50 bill. Does anyone know how much, if anything, the notes are generally worth? I know it would depend on the condition, year printed, and so on, so let me just say that these are fairly good condition (circulated), have been printed in the last 10-15 years, and are being kept in a flat currency albumn.

I don't trade these but I have collected a few. It is just like anything collectable, it is only worth what someone will give you for it. I've been told that star notes are worth 10X face but I believe it to be closer to 5X face. Certainly the condition of the bill will bring the price up or down.

Thanks for the response to this. I will try (over the next day or two) to get some pictures of these so that someone might be able to assist us further. But thanks again for the response!

I find that most of the time you can get double your money on UNC Star Notes....I've sold $1 Star notes for $2-$3 and $2 star notes for $4-$5.....
I've seen $50's and $100's for sale too and most of the time they are double the face value but I'm not sure how good the prices are....I'm not a paper money collector but there are many here and I'm sure they will be by to help soon.
