I agree...this coin looks VF to me but the rim ding will take the value down. I think $800-$1000 is probably a good bet for retail value. That said, there are some really good counterfeits out there. From what I can tell...this looks authentic but photos can be deceiving. I would take it to a dealer and have them inspect it and weigh it...they should be able to tell you if it's authentic or not.
