I had someone come into the shop today who was an "Associate" for a network of coin sellers that won't be named. If you have paid attention around here... you will know which network I am talking about. He proceeded to hand me paperwork about his "group" and begun his pitch on how these certain modern coins are rare and how I should become a "Network distributor" how I could make good money. I sat silently and listened intently until he finished. I then begun to tell him a story about a woman which I had dealt with this past week who had bought a bunch of overpriced junk from this same group and how she feels that she has been fleeced by this same "Network". I also told him that if he wanted to sell coins he would be much better doing it on his own and not selling people overpriced "investment quality" junk with stretched truths and vague claims of rarity. I think it was pretty obvious that this guy had thought I was just going to hop right onboard and be ready to sell his networks junk... you should have seen his face when I finished with my rant. It was priceless.
I just don't think he expected me to know what his network was really all about... Thank you Internet!
