1846 seated dollar

I am thinking of investing in this coin, and need some advice as to what I should expect to pay.
I do not want to pay to much but also, do not want to lose it by bidding to low a price.
Please HELP!

You have to be sure it's genuine first, there are many fakes out there.

 

That coin looks fake to me.

 

That looks like a fake to me, But then again i´m not a expert in US coins.

Look at the ding on the rim under one doll shure looks strange to me and the lady´s details are off compared to the whole coin.

I would be veeeeeeeeery carefull with this coin

I agree, this coin looks fake. If you can weigh it, see if it weighs around 26 grams.

 

Well, the OP wants to buy it... it's not his coin yet. Maybe he could message the seller and see if he could get a true weight (but I doubt it... this seller is not a coin person). My opinion? Fake. My advice is stick with graded coins or buy from a trustworhy dealer. Here's a link to the auction in question:
