I really apologize if this is old news for you guys but it is a new one for me and I haven't found anything through Google to clear it up. Looking through a bunch of uncirculated sets, it turns out I have four 1980 sets. Three of them have: 3 SBA dollars, 2 halves, 2 quarters, 2 dimes, 2 nickles, 2 cents as they are supposed to. But one of them has only two SBA dollars and instead three quarters. Was this a common mistake? Stikes me this isn't your usual "my coin is in backwards" mistake! Obviously I'm curious about this particular error's collectability. Thanks in advance for your input.
That is interesting, but I don't have an answer. I am curious at to what others say though. ...so, I'm really just posting to subscribe to this thread.
This is a packaging error not a mint error. These typically bring about a dollar more than a normal set as a novelty .
