Old roman coin...What year? Anyone know?

    I agree totally. A decent image of the reverse may allow the date to be identified further.

    One question. The top pick looks like there is a seam around the coin. Is this a function of the photograph? I wouldn't assume a coin with an uneven flan like that was a cast, but every time I look at the photo I see the seam.

    Here is another look at this coin...

    There is a seem, I think it is struck, I paid $3 for this years ago and the coin dealer was glad to get it I am sure. I'm happy with it...
