Observation about Presidential Dollars

    Tonight, I looked through my presidential dollars and noticed the portraits definitely have improved over time. The three most needing help are Washington, Jefferson, and Jackson. The 2010 and 2011 dollars have some of the best portraits. I suspect the negative reaction by some to these coins are the changes in style to a more modern one. Some will like it and some will not. What is not right though are the bad portraits. To me Jefferson looks like a ghost; Washington a bouncer; and Jackson just had his forehead bashed in. Here is hoping the portraits continue to improve.

    Yea.. i am not big on the new modern stuff.. are you new to the forum or to coins in general?

    Actually I like the modern designs;I just do not like bad portraiture on a coin. I am new to coins, but I am not new to art or history.
