Found this among my change, the wide side caught my eye. I've been looking around the internet for information on this misaligned die on dimes and didn't find much. Does anyone know if it's worth anything? I can't imagine it being worth more than it's face value, but lol, why not try eh?

The Reverse is pretty much perfect ....

I am getting into error coin collecting myself. From what I understand, MAD coins only collect a premium over face value if the rim is broken and/or some of the details run off the coin. In your coin's case, it looks as though the rim is still (barely) intact all the way around, so my guess it is only worth face value. However, it looks super cool :)

MAD (MisAligned Die). The obverse was misaligned; the reverse die was not. The misalignment your coin is more than most we see here - enough that the rim is missing.

That is a nice find. Others will have to advice you as to the premium associated with it as I don't know the values of errors very well.

I actually just found two more butnot as bad as this. 1999 and 2006. They're not as bad, but it's making me start to wonder if this type of error is common.
