Taylor, even though you cant see the luster, focus on the details....BTW, there is no such thing as ef-43, that would be EF-45 or Ef-40....
Hehe.... I am sorry! I just saw wear on the hairlines and in the colums of monechello so I say EF-40 but we are way off! :fro:
Don't be sorry, this is just a learning experience, I can see where you might think the wear to downgrade it, but you must use some reason too. Why on earth would someone slab a common date Jeff in Ef condition, it just does'nt make sense, because it would still be worth face.
I guess Zach is the winner because he is the closet. This coin was graded MS63 and is a mint error coin...it has an improperly annealed planchet. I honestly feel this coin shouldn't have been graded because of the rim ding on the reverse at about 8 o'clock. But, because of the error...I think they downgraded it instead. Other than that ding, this coin is very clean.
