EF-43? I cant tell it seems that the slab is blocking clear photo light!

 

Taylor, even though you cant see the luster, focus on the details....BTW, there is no such thing as ef-43, that would be EF-45 or Ef-40....

 

Hehe.... I am sorry! I just saw wear on the hairlines and in the colums of monechello so I say EF-40 but we are way off! :fro:

 

Don't be sorry, this is just a learning experience, I can see where you might think the wear to downgrade it, but you must use some reason too. Why on earth would someone slab a common date Jeff in Ef condition, it just does'nt make sense, because it would still be worth face.

The lighting is normal...and the coin does have luster. This is how the coin appears.

 

Only a day and a half! lol..... :smile

I meant that the luster is'nt visible in the photograph...

 

I guess Zach is the winner because he is the closet. This coin was graded MS63 and is a mint error coin...it has an improperly annealed planchet. I honestly feel this coin shouldn't have been graded because of the rim ding on the reverse at about 8 o'clock. But, because of the error...I think they downgraded it instead. Other than that ding, this coin is very clean.
