What is your favorite non silver coin? Iv always liked young victoria pennys. Not super popular but have been getting more popular resently. none the less still my favorite non silver coin
Draped bust large cents (followed by any early large cent, any large cent, Conder tokens, and just recently I've started collecting 5 kopeks of Catherine II of Russia. Nice BIG coppers, nearly two oz each.) I understand your interest in the Victoria young head pennies, they are very nice. I really like the early ones 1844 - 54. Very impressive especially in higher grade.
Nothing exciting here. Just Lincolns. BTW, Lincolns are not my favorite non silver coin. They are just my favorite coin. Period.
My favorite non-silver coin was always the Half Cent Rope. I guess I just like to root for the underdog. I always thought the issue was underrated and lived in the shadow of her big sister the Large Cent. They're scarce, relatively inexpensive and have a classic old design. Very appealing coins to me. I had 4 nice examples of the 5 kopeks about a half year ago. but i got an offer for them i could not pass up Also Conder tokens have always been appealing to me. there is such a huge variety.
It really is beautiful Warrior. I'm not familiar with Chinese coins at all, but this one isvery appealing. Bruce
