1853 Half dime arrows

    Here is a 1853 half dime that was part of the lot I purchased yesterday. First Half dime I've ever had. Looking at photo grade I think maybe fine 15 cleaned. WIN_20221216_19_00_38_Pro.jpg WIN_20221216_19_00_53_Pro.jpg

    I agree with this. VG+ to borderline Fine. Cleaned, but the old cleaning doesn't bother me too much. It's a respectable coin for one's first half dime.

    The sharpness grade is VG. It’s produced been cleaned, but in the lower grades, that is less important.

    A nice coin with some mileage on it. Just like the rest of us. I give the cleaning a pass. Enjoy it!
