Anybody good at eyeballing Washingtons? Picked this the other day, wondering if it’s worthy of being slabbed 6288719E-1B71-4AC7-AD22-6D2CDB21CBDE.jpeg F16DD85A-129C-4601-B6D0-D57CBAA4E4E7.jpeg 72972B0E-1546-4205-A72B-2006416604C2.jpeg

I would say the coin would grade AU50. Looks good for the D/S.

Nice find but don't think it's worth having graded.

I admit I'm not a Washington quarter guy, or a good grader, but AU? Really? I would have said VF if anything, but that's me.

Nice find but as for grading, the fees would not be worth it.

It still has a good bit of detail, look at the hair and the eagle’s chest. I do think a lot of silver Washingtons were poorly struck, but it’s definitely XF or higher

I hear ya, I went only off of details. XF45 has much flatter wing tips and breast.
