Well, the Security Engravers Group has been quiet as of late, but I know you're still out there. We lost some momentum when we lost Bob Connor, but I think he'd want us to stay active. Finding time to come up with presentations gets harder over the summer, but is anyone willing to commit to a topic -- even if you don't pin down a firm date? These presentations draw the attention of more than just our small group, they're good for the Paper Money forum in general. Duke? Rick? Darryl? I'll bet there's other items of interest from your collections you could share. I know I've got some appealing topics in mind for other presentations, but I don't want to be the only one posting. What say you? :smile Greg
Hi Greg, At the moment for me the timing is a little bad to do a presentation but I have been thinking about working on another in the future. I have plenty to inspire me but nothing has really struck me as this is the one. After my trip to the WFOM in August hopefully I will pick a topic and then research and write something up. I am glad others are thinking about the SEG!
Nothing like a big show to inspire you! I look forward to seeing what topic you finally land on. I'm going to try to post something else in the next month -- maybe that'll encourage a few more folks into jump in.
