Found in penny roll

    Searching rolls for wheaties i found this 1900 1 german pfening,does anyone have a rough idea of value?
    Or where i might go on the net to find out?

    Value is about the same as it would be for a common date, well worn wheat cent - maybe 2 cents.

    Is that a D mint mark below the eagle? Maybe .25 in VF.

    The mintmark looks like an A (Berlin) to me ...

    Ah, the Berlin mint made 51.8 million that year, more than the other 5 mints combined. Yep, .25 at best in VF condition.

    Cool find by the way. I go through a lot of rolls of cents and the only foriegn coins I usually find are Canadian, with the odd Bahama cent now and then.

    you guy's are correct it's an A mint mark,I thought it might be worth a bit more than GDJMSP's 2cents.
    .25 c sounds more likely.
    It was a cool find,how many times do you find a 106 yr old coin these day's, let alone a non US one.
    I would grade it F-VF
