Putting Together an Ike Set

I look at those as close to a couterfeit too. And pass on them. But it's my set and my opinion

I'm not going to add one either...they are too expensive for my tastes. If they were $20, I'd probably add one. But not for $90.

 

I bought one of those 1975's ...

 

Does anyone have any other major varieties I should consider? If I include the FEV, there will be one blank spot left.

I have a 1971-D Talon Head...I was going to use it as the normal 1971-D. Is that the only year it occurred? What is the Peg Leg?

 

I don't plan on using expensive coins...I'm just going to try and find nice looking raw examples. I think it will be a fun set to assemble. I'm not too worried about the coins turning in the album.

 

I"m sure someone will fill you in on Peg Leg and other Ike's. There are a few of the "diva" members here I believe.
