We have received several relay calls over the past few months. These are services that offer the deaf the ability to use the phone through a website. But other people can use it as well just by typing in the system. The calls we have gotten have all been inquiring about buying gold and silver bullion with a credit card... Actually they have all been exactly the same. "I would like to buy gold American Eagles. How many can I order?". Nothing about how much they cost... they don't care. They all have come from http://www.i711.com/. These folks are using stolen credit card numbers to try to order bullion from you. I was smarter then they were and obviously didn't process the card. I even had one call where the supervisor got on the line in the middle of the conversation and advised us that this was a fraudulent call.

    BEWARE.

Coinnews.net had an article yesterday about a scam involving AMEX cards. The scammers have somehow managed to get the system to report back that the address and 4-digit verification code are correct.

I think they were trying to use an AMEX card with us.
