I'm thinking of sending in the Jefferson Nickel from my 1966 SMS set to PCGS? Any opinions on grade, and if it may be worth it to send either the Jefferson nickel or the Lincoln cent in? I know the cost of sending them in won't justify the price of the coin, (unless they grade pretty high) but I'd like the nickel in my registry set. Any opinions??

Sorry, but there's really no way to estimate grade based on your pics.

I'll give it another shot when I get home from work. Couldn't get it last night, having trouble with the glare. Thanks for the reply.

Those 1966 and 1967 SMS plastic containers are very easy to separate since they are not "sealed". Removing the plastic will eliminate the glare problem.

OK, this is the best I can do on the Jefferson nickel...until I learn how to take better pictures. First picture is through the plastic, cropped, and edited to put into a spreadsheet that I am starting to catalogue my coins. The second is with the plastic off, just cropped.

65 shot 66, IMO. small photos make it even more than the usual guesswork.
