I'd love to see everones full Lincoln collection.

I have a type set of all the US coins with Lincoln. It's pretty cool.

Had to keep extending it, with the 2009 cents, then the Illinois quarter, and then the Presidential Dollar.

The 3 inch medal from the mint is very unique and gorgeous.

Thanks. To be honest a few of these last ones, I don't own. My high bids were not enough.

 

This is the the last. I own one like it but not the one in the image. It measures 28 x 22 and have not found the right place to hang it. Thanks to all that had something to add.

How could the 1892/1893 Chicago's World Fair take place without featuring their native son on one of their admission tickets.

Thats interesting. The workers standing on the chair gives you an idea of how large the statue is. I had no idea of it's size untill I stood next to it. I don't quite have the words to describe how i felt standing there looking up at Abe but it was something like awe.

The story is told of Abe that one day while riding the law circuit of Illinois he was stopped by a man who pointed a pistol at him and told him that if he ever found a man uglier than him he would kill him, Lincoln told the man that if he was uglier than that man he deserved to die.

 

These two came up on ebay a while back. No one placed a bid. The first is 8x10 and was listed at $1750. The second is 20x16 and was listed at $2499. I thought the prices were way high and I'm thinking the second one is not all that old. Feel free to post any image of Lincoln.
