Can you help identify these coins?

I purchased some bedouin jewelry recently from a woman who said she'd purchased it 35 years ago in Saudi Arabia. I haven't had much luck in my image searching to find where these coins are actually from, how old they may be, or what they may be worth. The are fairly thin, but they have designs on both sides, and it's not a photo image on the other side, like it would be if it was stamped through, but it's own stamp on each side. Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated! (I don't know anything about coins so please forgive my lack of terminology) :) photo(9).jpg photo(10).jpg

Okay, thank you Bahjat. I'm guessing they are just jewelry trinkets then... do you have any idea if they say anything, or if what is on them is just a design?

    Hi ellybttn,

    First Welcome to CoinTalk :welcome:

These are "jewellery coins" are used for decorative purposes, at weddings and other celebrations. Some times they are just an imitation of an Ottoman Empire coin some times there are only some designs on it, like yours.
Regarding their composition, they are made from many metals starting gold and silver down to copper and brass.
They are sometimes used as "belly-dancer coins" for decorating their dresses or just in a necklace or a piece of jewelry like yours.

    Hope this helps :smile

Thanks for your reply. :) I am still hoping to find some exact likeness somewhere to date my jewelry piece. It seems to me (without knowing for sure) that the tokens were the last thing added to the headpiece. (I realize Bedouin jewelry gets passed around a lot so it's hard to date it) You are in Egypt?! After discovering this jewelry and deciding to collect it, I'd love to go to some of the marketplaces I'm sure are available to you there. But I guess I still have ebay. It's just not the same! lol
