Are there known varieties of No S San Fran ASEs? Seems like it'd be a bummer to send in tubes and tubes to get slabbed (and try for a No S designation) and find out they're all normal.
In all likelihood, the idea was proposed by one of the shopping networks like Coin Vault. Suppose you made a product, and a customer came to you and said that he didn't like the white box, but told you he would buy all that you could provide and pay you $5 extra for each one if you would put them in a blue box. What would you do? I think it's a smart move on NGC's part! Chris
My feeling is that they should be promoting the hobby with the quality grading that they provide to the collector community. They're a top tier grading company. They don't need this extra business. Bob Chambers workin' at NGC now?
Haha, my stupid attempt at humor in the bullion section wasn't all that far off. I can't wait to see the dealers pumping these and why you should pay more because of the "spectacular San Fransisco strike quality", or some other bs. Sometimes the truth is so much stranger and far fetched than fiction.
Any company that is satisified with things just the way they are and does not look for new opportunities to grow the business is headed for failure. Chris
