A beautiful coin bearing the portrait of a very unusual man. I've often wondered what would have happened if Alexander had lived 100 or so years later, to face the might of the nascent Roman Republic................ I don't collect greek coins - but I did make an exception for Alexander by acquiring a Drachm minted in his name.
