shield cents, the new wheat?

I personally don't care much for the design, so would have to give a thumbs up to the old wheaties.

That's exactly what I thought too! Something to do with either that, or Gotham City & superheroes!

Anyway, quite a pleasing design.

 

Somewhere between 1.5 and 2 cents. A nickel last I heard costs almost 8 cents to make.

 

I have boxes and rolls galore.
Just wish i had a "D" buddy to trade with.
I'm in PA and get boxes from the bank.

 

I really like the design. I think it is vastly superior to the old memorial reverse...and IMHO almost as nice as the wheat reverse. I'm not hoarding them, I'm trying to get a nice example or two per year. I think the design will be used until 2058 unless the government decides to discontinue the cent before that.
