Just got this - took a chance, the price was right, what would you estimate the grade at?

I don't know the grade it's raw! But when I get it in hand I'll post what I think. I'm really eager to hear what you guys think.

It looks like it could go MS65!!!....the strike is great and for a O mint its great!
The T in states looks alittle big.....it could point to a VAM....

I dunno, this one could go either way - MS or AU. I'd have to see other pics to decide for sure but it appears there may be slight wear.

High grade 64, would be a 65 if the strike was betterIMHO

could very well be the photos. Nice coin either way

O mint Morgans tend to be a little weaker on the strike.
It is also quite difficult to take pics with all details showing as im finding out

Howdy all. I just received the coin and the strike is slightly weak (as usual for the mint and year) however it's a solid coin and not AU at all. I'm probably going to hedge my bets and say it's MS-64 but I think it could be higher. It's got lovely luster and all the marks are faint and and unobstrusive. Thanks for your opinions on this coin. I really enjoy this forum and it's been a huge help in learning to grade as I don't know any 'live' collectors in my town nor any places to go for coins except online.

But might that not just be contact marks as opposed to circulation wear? These breast feathers are the same color as the hair above the ear (black and shiny), and if these are contact marks, those are the first places these big soft coins are hit. This field looks really good, too, which is yet another reason I'd guess these areas aren't circulation wear.

You all have missed something VERY wrong with this coin. ITS NOT MINE! Great example of an O mint. Congrats on this pickup..

I'll go with MS64. But just to make sure you could send it to me. I won't grade it, I'll keep it.

I think it definitely has a shot at 65, as the only sligthly detracting mark is the field, it might be a 64.
