I mentioned it in my last post, but here's a pic of the Indian Cent struck on a $2.5 gold planchet that I got to see in person at Long Beach yesterday!!!! Not only do I think this is the coolest error coin there is, it's probably one of the coolest overall coins I've ever seen!

I agree! That is just remarkable.

I missed the show but bought a few large cents online. I've wanted an 39/6 for a long time and finally filled that hole. Upgraded a 44/81 and a 43 petite, large letters. Was outbid on two others and an 1813 AU CBH I really wanted. I made a very strong bid on it and lost by $10. <sigh>

Mike, I saw Charmy's photos of your display. Superb! I'm sure it was a lot of work but well worth it. Nice going.
