I'd say it was a Ms-64, but I feel that it's been cleaned. You can see hairlines in the fields, as well as darkness around the lettering and stars... That's just my opinion, I'm sure an expert will pitch in, and bring the real news....
I'll say AU58, but it looks like it may have a shot at getting in a lower MS holder (MS61 or MS62 may be possible if you send it to a TPG like ANACS or ICG). One reason I say this is due to the VERY sharp strike. You can see nearly every detail on the obverse Lady Liberty. Also, regarding what zach24 said about the cleaning, I disagree. It looks to just a a certain brown-rust patina near the rim (Sadly, sometimes a TPG may mistake this for 'Corrosion' if they feel that it is REAL rust, not rust-colored toning). It outlines the obverse stars possibly making it looks as if the coin had been previously cleaned. -Brian
They insert it into a "Genuine" labeled holder. They don't designate it with a grade, if that's what you're asking. -Brian
Well, I think I'm going to stick with what I said before; original surfaces. Although the reverse may be a little muted in lustur, I don't believe I see any signs of cleaning... Just unusually toning. -Brian
When I first saw it I thought cleaned, but looking at for a few minutes I think it was lightly dipped and nothing harsh. At least from what I can tell in the pictures. I also agree it looks AU58, but I also would not be surprised to see it in a low MS holder.
