1921 Toned Morgan Dollar

    Those of you toning gurus know that after 1904 finding really nice rainbow toned dollars is HARD. I have looked through well over 10,000 BU 1921 P dollars in my career and I have only ever seen a few that were definitely naturally toned. I found this guy today and wanted to share.

    Nice one, Dutch! I wonder what caused this toning. You can see a fingerprint on the reverse at 4 o'clock.

    Fantastic Find! I know how hard that search is, I can't say I've ever seen a really nicely toned '21 Morgan. Yours is probably the best I've seen.

    It's really interesting how they changed (for the worse) the design of the Morgan in 1921. It's sort of flattened out wth less detail. The 1921 Morgan almost looks like a different coin from the rest of the 1887-1904 series.

    ok ... those take the cake!!! best toned 1921's i've ever laid eyes on.
    are they in a registry set somewhere?
    I bet they are worth a pretty penny
