have a strnge coin

i have a lights golden jubilee coin with thomas edison on the front and lightbulbs on the back it is dated1879-1829, i cant find out what it is or how much it is worth could someone please give me some info on this?

Seriously, you probably have a privately minted commemorative medal. Most of them are worth melt value if they're silver or gold, and a buck or so if they're base metal.
