Hi fellow coin talk members just wanted to update you on the progress of the bob connor memorial scholarship fund we are doing ok, but we still have only received about half the pledges that were promised so far, so please if you havent all ready sent it in please do it today my goal is to make a one time donation in the name of bob connor and present that to frank of the young notables along with a plaque, i,am working hard to get this done asap! Rusty, I'm awaiting the items I won from Heritage Auctions to reach my doorstep. As soon as they do, my donation will be on its way!
D'oh! Late as usual. I've just packaged up my donation. It will go out on Monday and hopefully arrive later this week.
Just thought I should provide an update and also ask a question about Heritage. I contacted Heritage twice, the last time a few minutes ago regarding my order. Apparently even though I paid the auction balance in full before the invoice was due, they have still not shipped out my notes. Each time they say that they don't understand why the shipping department hasn't sent it out yet. So....I still intend on sending something for this fund, I just don't know how long it will take now. I may request upgraded shipping or something else if I have to call again. This leads me to part two. Has anyone ever dealt with this before with Heritage? This is the first time I've purchased through them and it may be the last based on this experience.
