hummm.. $15 ? I still likely. Only one more coming in off the 'bay to round out my less than $50 buying spree last week. Going cheap is sooo much fun ! , and I dig my scores in the cheap seats last week too. Love them cherry red cents framed in yellow
I hate to burst your bubble on this one, but I bought 10 of them for $38. Sold some for as little as $5.20.
no bubble to burst there rlm ; ) I know it was abit high, which is why I put the "hummmm" in there. But I like the toning pattern alot so went 12.25 on it and it got pushed to that at the end of the auction.. plus shipping made it 15. BTW... I'd have taken 10 slabbed at 38 in a flash too ! Nice pick up there.
very attractive coin.. I am from the school that slabbed coins are worth the cost of a typical (not bulk) submission, so getting any of them for 1/2 that is a deal!
<snerk>,,, from right under your nose ; ) 'ebay. It's been my coin show of choice for years, and the only way you'll ever find coins at a low enough cost to ever make any return on you hobby. You just can't buy coins from dealers and expect to your hobby to ever pay off to any extent at all..... so although I do sometimes buy from dealers when I "have to have" that specific coin, I try to build into my collection these little gems at good price so that when I do sell one day, it has a chance in heck at making my money back, or a bit better. Last week was unusually target rich, dunno why, but when other collectors like you and myself decide to trade up or sell and put stuff on the 'bay, then those are the opportunities to buy at an honest price. Putting my last coin received from last weeks bargin hunting $50 up in a second... I likey it, but it may not please everyone.
