Is there anyone roll searching in Northern California?

I only ask because lately my finds have been absolutely terrible! That is, if there are any halves or dollars to buy up! I may have to start searching dimes to find anything at all. I do not want to be stepping on anyone's toes, or picking up their dumps.

If by chance you are in Nor Cal searching, could to maybe try and avoid the southern end of Chico? I do not have a car, so my searching is limited to the Wells Fargo, BofA, and Tri-Counties in the Rayley's shopping center.

    Thanks!

I'm in the SF bay area, and the searching has been bad here too. Everybody is doing it ever since the silver story had been widely publicized earlier in the year. If I have another teller tell me that everybody is doing it (roll searching), I think I'm gonna go nuts. Best of luck to you!

Also live in SF. went to local Chase on tuesday and ordered 1000 dollars in half dollars. Will be here tomorrow. I actually went through 300 dollars worth on monday and found a 1968 and a 1969. Not too bad for my first search

I bank at Bank of the West. Unfortunately they have a pretty crappy merchant teller system, because most vendors don't use this bank for their business needs. Primarily they go to Bank of America or Wells Fargo. I've been going to Bank of America to get the rolls and using my primary bank to dump the clad stuff. Needless to say, it's worked out extremely well and I was fortunate to find two IHC's in 3 boxes of pennies and 8 silver Rosies in a box of dimes.

You did really well, the last few boxes of halves I got I didn't do too well. Everybody is on the silver bandwagon here, not just collectors.
