Is the number of the telphon is belong to paypal?

I did not change my password and I get in to my paypal account with the same

Password.... So they lie when they write in the email that I change my password, and maybe they want from me details.

What is the telphone number of paypal?

    Thank you.

    100% phishing email.

    1st - there are mispellings.
2nd - thats not a paypal email address
3rd - the link they provide does not go to paypal, even worse, it goes to an IP adress
4th - Paypal will NEVER ask for your password

The phone number is not paypal

The part in BOLD is a clue it is likely not legitimate. PayPal's domain is normally .com.

That does not sound like a genuine request from PayPal. Enter your card information as accurately as possible??? Good grief! Either the card number is correct or it is incorrect. What good is a card number if it is not absolutely correct. (Like a telephone number, one digit off and you have a wrong number.)

I would recommend that you disregard the e-mail and delete it.

It will ALWAYS start with the SECURE form of web-addresses:

    https://www.paypal.com (or similar)

Also, Paypal and eBay (and others) include the actual account username in the email ... this said "Dear Memmber (sic)"; generics the real companies do not do.

PayPal is great and I have never had problems ... and they NEVER send this kind of email without identifying the user and the real secure address.

That was a phishing mail, pretty obvious.

Just one thing, about the co.il part. First of all, the domain paypal.co.il indeed belongs to PayPal, you can check the SSL info on hxxps://www.paypal.co.il/il/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_home and read the VeriSign Class3 Public Primary Certification Authority data your browser shows.

Second, all Israeli users of PayPal get emails from service@paypal.co.il, which is legitimate.

If you see unfamiliar piece of information, at least check it to make sure you`re not misleading others. PayPal got plenty of domains, some of them are not .com.

A good rule of thumb to avoid phishing emails is to ALWAYS type the url into the browser, don't click links in emails. Even when you know the email is good, just delete the email and type in the url. Make it a habit. It takes less than five seconds to type paypal.com into the browser. It could take you a lifetime to clean up the mess if you get your account hijacked.

What a small world! I got this email too and when I googled it (after finding out it was fake) I came to this form! I am a member here! Small world! Seeming that there are SOO many forms! And they used a different email than the one I signed up for this site with so that's not it. Anyways, that is the real PayPal number, I called them and they said it was a fake email, I googled that number and it is the PayPal number.
The makers of this email foolishly mis-spelled "member" in the very first sentence! HAHA.
But yes, it's 100% fake. Paypal said they never put hyperlinks in their emails, never address you as "member", and it would be from ***@paypal.com

    Good day!

But don't rely on the listed source as proof of genuinenss, since phishers often forge the source information!

Agreed about that e-mail being "phishy". And yes, PayPal would use the customer's name in an e-mail. But they do send messages with hyperlinks on various occasions. And as mentioned before, they use various TLDs, not ".com" only, depending on the member's location. In fact, if I got an email "from" paypal.com, I would immediately assume that there is something wrong with it. Peter's advice makes a lot of sense, especially (but not only) when you deal with PayPal or your bank ...
