This is a 1883-CC GSA Morgan Silver Dollar. Has the original COA, GSA (blue) box and in the original sealed GSA slab. Sorry, I'm not the best coin photographer. I am considering selling this coin but not sure of the grade/value and given it is a lower priced Morgan I'm not sure I want to pay to have it graded. Any input on what it might grade would be much appreciated.
Would like to see a larger image. I went 63, with a different image I could easily change that guess.
63 sounds right with the obverse only photo of iffy quality, a bit baggy to go 64 from what I can see.
I think a high 62 with everything by her mouth up to her eye. Looks to have nice luster though. If submitted to TPG, I wouldn't be surprized with a 63
The fields are fairly clean. The only visible bag marks look to be on the obverse bust. I'll say MS64 (This, IMO, is a very generous grade). -Brian
New images coming tonight My apologies again for the poor image quality. I'm new to CoinTalk and misunderstood the attachment size limitations. I will post larger images of the front and back tonight. Thanks for your comments so far, really and education!!!
Looks 63 to me but a pic of the reverse would help. This coin is worth about $185 in that condition. If selling on ebay just start it at .99 cents with no reserve and offer free shipping. You will get around $200.
I will stick with 63. That is a nice coin with great luster. They look great in those black holders maybe the guys over at pcgs or ngc should consider black holder for silver coins.
