So, as many of you know...yesterday was my birthday. I met my patents for breakfast this morning in a town half way between where I go to school and where they live. After breakfast, they gave me two wrapped packages. The first one contained a 2011 Silver Proof Medal of Honor Commemorative Coin: Many of you may know I collect WWII era coinage, especially from Germany. The other package contained a pair of 50 Reichpfennig Nickel issues in MS condition. MS nickel coins can be tough finds and these made a very nice addition to my collection. They are the first nickel 50pf coins I have. One is a 1939-A and the other is a 1939-F:
