Nothing special here but I noticed that he´s using photos from other sellers And the 1000 Kronur note is a 1957 not the 1961 and these are hard to find in high grades. http://cgi.ebay.com/Iceland-Kronur-...0510910950?pt=Paper_Money&hash=item56442bd5e6 I asked him if the notes are the same as the pictures He said this Yes, all the banknotes pictured are in the LOT So basicly NO but hoping a noob would think this is YES It´s a whole lot of chance waiting for a noob to fall for crap like this. Just dont get some people
It's a shame that some people try to deceive others in any number of ways Siggi. I've always found that being above board and straightforward in your dealings with others is always the best approach. Not only in numismatics but in everyday life. In short, do the right thing. Bruce
I could not agree more Bruce, I noticed the notes are from current listing so I let one seller know. I dont mind into other peoples buisness but for some reason this ****es me off hehe
I have,,,,A few times let other sellers know that someone was using there pic's that was stolen from them to sell on there own listing,,,once a new seller was using almost the same name as another dealer with just on number different and it was a clear case of a copycat all the way to the listing formate its self so I told this dealer what was going on and in a few days the new dealer changed the name and they way he listed his coins. to me it was a clear attempt to desive someone in to thinging he was this high profile dealer.
There is an easy fix for the original picture owner to do. Always use a hosting service to post pics. When someone steals a photo, just change the picture on the hosting site to a picture of something else.
Like goatse. If you don't know what it is, don't google it, trust me, you'll regret it the rest of your life.
I believe that one of the report options is using someone else's pics... I could be thinking of another site though. ??? However, the original pic owner may be the one that has to report.
