1969 penny

    I have a 1969 penny. I heard that there arent many out there. Can anyone confirm this?

    1969 memorial lincoln has a mintage of 1.1 billion in Philly, 4 billion in Denver, and 544 million in San Fran. There are a lot out there. There is a very rare 1969 S double date though. Perhaps that's what you heard about.

    The 1969 is very common even in mint state red. A common, brown 1969 is worth 1 cent.
